Coin «Shot Revival. Mike Johansen in a gift box» 5 UAH, 2026, nickel silver

On the obverse side of the coin there is a stylized inscription SLOVO - the name of the Kharkiv house of writers of the 1930s. In the texture of the letters, the growth of winter wheat can be seen - the image of the young generation of artists, whose life and creativity were cynically broken by the totalitarian government. The tragedy of the historical era is emphasized by the shot letter "O", from which blood flows, reminding of a painful wound in the history of Ukraine and the unfulfilled dreams of talented artists. Under the text composition is the inscription UKRAINE, the minting year is 20 / 26, the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine, denomination 5 with the graphic symbol of the hryvnia and the logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

On the reverse of the coin, on a mirror background, a stylized portrait of Mike Johansen is depicted, placed as if on the title of a book, from which a page with the name of the poet and novelist - MIKE / JOHANSEN is torn out, below the portrait are the years of the artist's life - 1895 / 1937. This composition symbolizes the period of the 1930s, when they tried to destroy the memory of outstanding Ukrainians: writers, playwrights, musicians, artists.
