The reverse of the coin depicts three Black Sea scallops in yellow-blue, orange and white (decorative element – colour printing) in their typical biotope, sandy hollows. The inscription FLEXOPECTEN PONTICUS runs in a semicircle at the top, and ЧОРНОМОРСЬКИЙ ГРЕБІНЕЦЬ (BLACK SEA SCALLOP) at the bottom.
