On the obverse there are depicted: above - the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the semicircular inscription НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine); against the background of the map of Ukraine with the legend ДОНЕЦЬК (Donetsk) there is the image of the official UEFA Euro 2012 logo with the inscriptions thereunder UEFA/EURO 2012TM/POLAND-UKRAINE; to the right - the coin issue year 2011, the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint and the bow-shaped face value П`ЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ (five hryvnias).
