Coin "Year of the Horse" in a souvenir package 5 UAH, market price 28.01.2026

On the obverse side of the coin is placed: at the top - a small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine, to the right of which is the inscription UKRAINE in a semicircle; 12 symbols of the Eastern calendar are depicted in a circle on a mirror background, in the center of the circle - a stylized clock with an arrow pointing to a horse - a symbol of the year, above the arrow - 2026; at the bottom left, the inscription in a semicircle 5 HRYVNA; on a matte background, symbols of each season stylized as Ukrainian vytynanka are depicted: a snowflake (above), a flower (right), a berry (below), a leaf (left); logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (on the right above the tiger symbol).

On the reverse of the coin, in the center of the composition, the symbol of 2026 is separately depicted - a stylized horse on a horseshoe background, which is traditionally associated with luck and protection. The horse's mane conveys the dynamics of movement "downwind" or "against the wind" - as a metaphor for inner strength, resistance and the desire for freedom. Below the central image are three dots, symbolizing the continuation of the struggle. The horse is surrounded by stylized elements that are characteristic of each season: snowflakes (top right), flowers (bottom right), fruits (bottom left), branches (top left).
