The "Parliamentarism" commemorative coin is dedicated to the system of political organization of the state, an important component of the country's democratic system, which is based on the principles of popular representation, separation of powers and the rule of law. In Ukraine, the only body of legislative power is the Verkhovna Rada. It forms the legislative framework, controls the executive power and determines the strategic directions of the state's development. At the current stage, even under martial law, the Verkhovna Rada is working on improving the legislative framework, protecting the state and citizens, as well as implementing reforms aimed at changing worldview principles at all levels of life and moving the country towards European prosperity.
