Coin Maksym Rylsky 2 UAH, market price 18.03.2026

On the coin obverse there is depicted a conventionalized composition illustrating poetry, where roses and grapes are interlaced; left from the composition there is a two-lined inscription: УКРАЇНА, 2 ГРИВНІ, (Ukraine/ 2 / hryvnia), above it there is the Mint logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine; under inscription there is the small National Emblem of Ukraine and 2005, the coin issue year.

On the coin reverse a portrait of Rylsky is depicted, left from which there is a vertical two-lined inscription: МАКСИМ РИЛЬСЬКИЙ (Maksym Rylsky), under the inscription - 1895-1964, his years of life.

The coin is dedicated to the birth centenary of Maksym Rylsky, a classic of the Ukrainian literature of the 20th century, a talented translator, scholar and public figure. Rich heritage of the outstanding poet (`Roses and Grapes`, `Distant Horizon`, `Autumn in Golosiiv`, etc.) has raised the modern Ukrainian poetry to the summits of the world literature.
