On the coin obverse, there is a depicted a charm garland made of flowers, in the middle of which there is the small National Emblem of Ukraine and above it - 2004, the coin issue year. To the left and to the right there are conventionalized rye spikelets, poppy-heads and cornflowers. Beneath the garland there are inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 5, ГРИВЕНЬ, (Ukraine/ 5/ hryvnia), as well as the designation of the metal, its fineness and its weight in fineness. There is also the Mint logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine

On the coin reverse there is a group of girls is depicted adorned with flowers, ribbons and garlands, among whom a girl, embellished as a `poplar-tree` is a central figure. At the top and above the group there is a symbolic depiction of the Holy Trinity, on both sides of which there is an inscription: СВЯТО ТРІЙЦІ (Whitsunday Celebration)
