On the coin obverse there is depicted the small National Emblem of Ukraine, a floral field, made to the motives of artist`s canvases, as well as the inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, (Ukraine) 2000, 2, ГРИВНІ (2 hryvnia) and the logotype of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine

On the coin reverse there is an artist`s half-length portrait, created to the motives of her self-portrait and circular inscriptions: КАТЕРИНА БІЛОКУР (Kateryna Bilokur) and 1900-1961.

The coin is dedicated to the birth centenary of Kateryna Bilokur (1900-1961), the glorious daughter of Ukrainian people, People`s artist of Ukraine, who devoted all her life to flowers, immortalizing them on her canvases, regarding them as eyes of the Earth, as her children
