The set is dedicated to honoring the courage, heroism, defiance, love of freedom, dedication of the defenders of independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The set includes coins with a face value of 10 hryvnias (each), made of a zinc – based alloy with a nickel coating, the coinage quality category is “uncirculated”, weight – 12.4 g (each), diameter – 30.0 mm (each), circulation – 1,000,000 pieces (each). The coin band is fluted. The set includes the following commemorative coins: “defenders of Donetsk airport” – dedicated to the “cyborgs” – defenders of Donetsk airport, which defended it for 242 days, which became a symbol of defiance in the struggle for the territorial integrity of Ukraine; “day of the Ukrainian volunteer” – dedicated to the participants of volunteer formations that became the pride of the Ukrainian people; “100th anniversary of the creation of the Ukrainian Navy – - dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Ukrainian navy; "Participants of military operations on the territory of other states" - dedicated to Ukrainian military specialists-participants of many peacekeeping missions; "on guard of life" - dedicated to military doctors-people whose profession combines medical and military knowledge, who daily save the lives of defenders, perform a feat of mercy, courage and perseverance; "Kraz-6322 "soldier" - dedicated to a multi-purpose all-wheel drive vehicle designed to transport personnel, various loads of military units, Special Forces units and UN peacekeeping forces; "Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" - dedicated to one of the carriers of combat potential, a powerful and technological type of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is one of the main tools for deterring military aggression against Ukraine; “day of remembrance of fallen defenders of Ukraine” – dedicated to perpetuating heroism and honoring the memory of military personnel and participants of volunteer formations who gave their lives in the struggle for Ukraine; "State border service of Ukraine" is dedicated to the special purpose law enforcement agency, which is entrusted with the tasks of ensuring the inviolability of the state border and protecting the sovereign rights of Ukraine in its adjacent zone and exclusive (maritime) economic zone.
