Coin 100 years since the founding of ``Ukrainian Radio'' in a souvenir package 5 UAH, market price 28.01.2026

On the obverse of the coin, in the center of the composition, there is a small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine, around which the phrase SPEAK KYIV is repeatedly repeated, emphasizing the historical and modern role of Kyiv as a center of communication. This element also displays a stylized fragment of the contact line and the spread of radio waves over the occupied territories, symbolizing the importance of Ukrainian radio in defending national identity and countering enemy propaganda. Above is the inscription UKRAINE, on the left – denomination 5 with the graphic symbol of the hryvnia (horizontally), minting year – 2024 (vertically), below – the logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The reverse of the coin depicts the spread of radio waves in a stylized manner, the source of which is the dot above the letter "i" in the word "radio". This letter is depicted in the form of a kind of mast, which symbolizes the identification of Ukrainian Radio itself. Under the composition is the inscription UKRAINIAN / RADIO 1924, which means the year of the foundation of the largest radio network in Ukraine.
