On the obverse of the coin, on a mirror background, there is a symbolic composition that demonstrates the courage and love of freedom, sincerity and at the same time tenderness, care of Ukrainian women, embodied in the images of mothers and defenders, who during the war took on a huge responsibility - to be in defense of the Motherland and at the same time remain wife, housewife and mother (in the center); at the top is the inscription UKRAINE (in a semicircle), to the left of which is the logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine, decorated with stylized ornaments of Ukrainian embroidery, the denomination is 5 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia; on the right - a small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine, decorated with stylized ornaments of Ukrainian embroidery, and the minting year of the coin is 2023.

On the reverse of the coin, on a mirror background, there is a composition symbolizing the femininity of Ukrainian female defenders: on the left, stylized waves of female hair braided as a symbol of the accumulation of life force necessary for health and spiritual development; on the right is the outline of a female figure in a sheet as a symbol of female initiation (an element of decoration is a pad print).
