Coin Ukrainian Pysanka 5 UAH, market price 14.03.2026

On the obverse of the 5 hryvnia coin: above against the dark background there are the Small National Emblem of Ukraine (on the left) and a fragment of a pysanka, below against the light background there are the coin face value 5 ГРИВЕНЬ (5 hryvnias) and issue year 2009 together with a fragment of a pysanka, the dark and light parts are separated by the conventionalized legend НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine).

On the reverse of the German silver coin: below there is depicted an Easter still life - on the rushnyk (embroidered towel characteristic of Ukraine) there is a paska (Easter bread) with a candle thereon encircled with eggs; over them there is the conventionalized legend УКРАЇНСЬКА ПИСАНКА (Ukrainian pysanka); above there is a pysanka between the pysanka ornamentation patterns peculiar to Lemkivshchyna (Lemkos inhabited area), Bukovina, Hutsulshchyna (Hutsuls inhabited districts), etc.
