Coin Liberation of Kharkiv from the Fascist Invaders 5 UAH, market price 29.01.2026

Obverse: above there is the semicircular inscription НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) with the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine thereunder to the left; in the center there is depicted the monument to the Liberator Warrior decorating the city; thereunder is indicated the coin issue year 2013; to the left there is the coin face value: 5/ГРИВЕНЬ (5/hryvnias); to the right there is the mark of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

Reverse: there is a composition: the star with the inscription 70/років (70/years) in the center with the laurel branch thereunder; the reverse bears the circumferential inscription ВИЗВОЛЕННЯ ХАРКОВА ВІД ФАШИСТСЬКИХ ЗАГАРБНИКІВ (Liberation of Kharkiv from the fascist invaders) and the legend 1943 (below).

The commemorative coin is dedicated to the 70-th anniversary of liberation of the city of Kharkiv from the fascist invaders on August 23, 1943, by the Steppe Front troops in co-operation with the Voronezh and Southwestern Fronts as a result of the successful counteroffensive of the Soviet Army in the direction of Belgorod and Kharkiv, which was the Battle of Kursk conclusion.
