The obverse of the coin depicts a small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine (top); in the frame of the Old Russian ornament, the inscriptions are placed in the center: UKRAINE / 10 / HRYVEN (half circle); on the background of the ornament, the minting year of the coin is 2025 (below) and the logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (right).

On the reverse of the coin, a stylized map of Ukraine with clearly defined administrative boundaries is depicted on a mirror background. On the map, on a matte background that contrasts with the rest of the image, the Donetsk region is highlighted, emphasizing its belonging to a single state space. At the top of the circle is the inscription DONETSK OBLAST, at the bottom - the slogan of the series WE ARE STRONG. WE ARE TOGETHER.
