On the reverse of the medal on the background of spikelets there is a logo of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine; below the inscriptions: 100/years, on both sides of the inscriptions - spikelets; The logo of the banknote -mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (on the right - against the background of spikelets).

The memorable medal is devoted to a self -governing scientific organization, the main task of which is the scientific support of the development of the branches of the agro -industrial complex. The history of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine begins its countdown on November 01, 1918, from the date of creation of the agricultural scientist of the Committee of Ukraine, which in its structure, personnel potential and tasks had the signs of a full -fledged academic institution, to which academician VI Vernadsky had a direct attitude.
