On the obverse of the medal there are: above - inscription Ukraine and small State Emblem of Ukraine, under which the year of coinage - 2021; Image of the University building (left on a mirror background); In semicircle inscriptions: National Pharmaceutical University; The logo of the Banknote Court of the National Bank of Ukraine (to the right of the building of the university).

On the reverse of the medal on a mirror background there is a logo of the university (above); pharmaceutical mortar (to the right of the logo); Inscriptions: education/ with traditions/ 100/ NFaU.

The commemorative medal is dedicated to the only educational institution in Ukraine, created in 1921. Modern priority areas of activity of the National Pharmaceutical University (NFaU) are the training of highly qualified professionals, providing research for the scientific -intensive pharmaceutical sector, strengthening interconnection with the practical health care system, active integration with world educational, scientific, cultural and information.
