The reverse of the medal on the mirror background shows the central building of the Security Service of Ukraine and the inscriptions are placed in a semicircle: Security Service of Ukraine (above), we take care of your security! (down).

The commemorative medal is dedicated to the state special purpose body with law enforcement functions that ensures the state security of Ukraine. The official date of creation of the Ukrainian special service is March 25, 1992.
