The obverse of the coin features: at the top – a small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine, to the right of which is the inscription UKRAINE; in the center - the logo of the university; inscriptions below: 2022/2/HRYVNI; logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (below the inscriptions).

The reverse of the coin depicts a stylized composition: a monument to the outstanding architect O.M. Beketov (left), the central part of the facade of the university building (right) and the inscriptions: 100/YEAR (above the building), KHARKIV NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF URBAN ECONOMY NAMED. O. M. BEKETOVA (in a circle).

Dedicated to the only institution of higher education in Ukraine, which provides training and retraining of engineering personnel from a range of specialties and specializations covering technical and socio-economic spheres of functioning and development of cities and regions. Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy named after O. M. Beketov is a modern scientific and educational complex, which also includes a teaching and methodical department, a scientific library, branch research units, numerous educational and scientific centers, architectural and artistic workshops, etc. The university carries out a wide range of scientific research in the field of urban management.
