On the obverse against the glass background there is the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, under which there is the inscription: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ / БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine), marking of sportsman`s route (on the right), the conventionalized depiction of the compass (on the left), below there is the coin face value - 2 ГРИВНІ (2 Hryvnias), as well as the National Bank of Ukraine Mint logotype.

On the coin reverse there is a running sportsman holding a map in his hand and the inscription: СПОРТИВНЕ (Sport) (horizontal) ОРІЄНТУВАННЯ (Orienteering) (vertical).
