The central portrait is of Prince Volodymyr the Great. Ancient Rus braided ornament elements are used in the design.

Inscriptions and Denomination: "УКРАЇНА" is in the upper center, and "ОДНА ГРИВНЯ" is at the bottom.

The central engraving depicts the ruins of Chersonesus Taurica.

• Details: At the top of the note (above the ruins) is a ribbon with the inscription "НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ". To the left of the center is the facsimile of the Chairman of the Board's signature (Vadym Hetman) and the inscription "ГОЛОВА ПРАВЛІННЯ", On the right is the year "1992".
• Numbering: The banknote serial number is printed in the upper right part of the reverse.
• Denomination Elements: The numeral "1" is located in the four corners of the note, with "ОДНА ГРИВНЯ" at the bottom.

The 1 Hryvnia note of the 1992 issue is the first banknote of independent Ukraine, released during the monetary reform. The issue was printed in Canada by the Canadian Bank Note Company.

• Size: 135 × 70 mm.
• Designers: Artists Vasyl Lopata and Borys Maksymov.
• Watermark: Features Tryzubs depicted in light lines across the entire surface of the note.
• Numbering: Serial numbers always began with the digit one. It was impossible to distinguish notes signed by Vadym Hetman from those signed by Viktor Yushchenko by serial number, as the numbers were applied to already printed notes of both types.

А от вклавшить у банкноти з Володимирами, плюс був би вже значний, 4 хлібини 1996 року перетворилися б на біля 25+ хлібин 2026

Олександр, маю таких 7 штук. Не те щоб я в них вкладав, просто в 2003му дали на здачу, а вони ну в ідеальному стані ще й номера по порядку, мабудь якась бабуся з матрацу дістала бо виходили з обігу) от я їх і залишив собі. Взагалі боністикою не страждаю просто для памяті залишав собі купюри які виходили з обігу, але з перших не залишив ні 50 грн ні 100 бо то тоді то для мене дорого було, а зараз купляти нема бажання, може колись...😀
