The central portrait is of the writer Ivan Franko. The primary color of the note is gray-brown.

Inscriptions and Denomination: "УКРАЇНА" is in the upper center, and "ДВАДЦЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ" is at the bottom.

The central engraving depicts the Lviv Opera House.

• Details: At the top is a ribbon with the inscription "НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ". In the left part is the facsimile signature (Viktor Yushchenko) and the inscription "ГОЛОВА ПРАВЛІННЯ", with the year "1992" in the right part.
