Introduction into circulation of the 10 hryvnia coin — 2020.

The coin celebrates the central executive body responsible for implementing state policy in civil defense, protecting the population and territories from emergencies, preventing and responding to emergencies, conducting rescue operations, firefighting, ensuring fire and technological safety, supporting emergency rescue services, and performing hydrometeorological activities. The coin honors the courage, dedication, and professionalism of the personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU), who work to save lives and ensure public safety every day, both in peacetime and during periods of heightened risk.
