1 Kopek 2013 — Rare Ukrainian Coin from the NBU Collector’s Set
The 1 Kopek 2013 is a rare Ukrainian circulation-style coin that holds significant value for collectors worldwide. Struck by the Kyiv Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine from magnetic stainless steel, this coin was never intended for general circulation.
This specific 1 Kopek issue originated exclusively from the "15th Anniversary of the Mint" annual set. To meet collector standards, these coins were produced using the PL (Proof-like) minting technique, resulting in a sharp relief and a distinct mirror-like finish. With a total mintage of only 10,000 pieces, it remains one of the scarcest modern Ukrainian coins.
Market Value and Auctions:
Due to its limited "Set Only" release, the coin maintains strong investment appeal. The average auction price for a single 1 Kopek 2013 ranges from $10 to $15, while the complete annual set can fetch between $80 and $110. The final price is determined by the coin's condition, current demand, and auction trends.
