Obverse: on top of the coat of arms of the USSR with 15 turns of tape underneath the letters "USSR", the symbol below if the coin denomination, the number "1" and below the word "RUBLE", the bottom edge year of issue "1991".
Reverse: in the centre a picture of two wrestlers at the moment of capture. Behind them to the right a picture of two ancient Greek wrestlers, underneath ornament. To the left of them the image of a building with four towers. Also left a semicircle the inscription
Edge: two pressed the inscription "ONE RUBLE", between them the two pressed square pixels.
