Obverse: on top of the coat of arms of the USSR with 15 turns of tape underneath the letters "USSR", the symbol below if the coin denomination, the number "1" and below the word "RUBLE", the bottom edge year of issue "1991".

Reverse: in the centre a profile portrait of V. K. Ivanova. To his left under the chin, the years of the life of a poet "1890" and "1915" written in two lines. Lower right along the outer rim of the coin there is an inscription "K. V. IVAN

Edge: two pressed the inscription "ONE RUBLE", between them the two pressed square pixels.
